There is a difference between appearing graceful and becoming truly graceful. While the former is about making changes to your personality, the latter is about evolving your character. However, there are times when you need to look graceful; not to fool others but to make sure you have a good feeling about yourself later.
Be Comfortable: To appear graceful, you will need to be in control of your feelings and temperament. For that to happen, you will need to be comfortable with your own existence. So be absolutely okay with what you are and accept yourself as it is. This will be a great step towards appearing graceful.
Posture: If you really want to appear graceful, then your posture will play a big role in it. The idea is to generate the feeling of self-assurance without the hints of arrogance or vanity. The first thing about the posture should be keeping your back straight. Initially, it will be difficult because we are used to inclined backs, but gradually you become comfortable with it. Also, when you are walking, make sure that you are not looking at the ground. Look straight while walking and ooze out the feeling of overconfidence.
Dress Up: The posture and comfort will only help you look graceful if you have dressed up accordingly. You cannot be dressed up shabbily and still expect to appear graceful. You don’t really have to be in formals all the time; you also don’t need to buy new clothes to add grace to your looks. Just make sure that your clothes are properly ironed and absolutely clean.
